Nick Santhanam is the CEO of Fernweh Group, a investment company that adopts an engaged investor /operator model. For the previous 20 years he was a senior partner in McKinsey & Co’s Silicon Valley location and led its work in industrials globally. He served industrials and industrial-tech companies as well as private equity clients in the areas of margin optimization, organizational redesign, strategy and revenue growth, operations improvement, cost optimization, and strategy. Before joining McKinsey, he worked as a technical manager and a manufacturing engineer at a PCB and ceramics manufacturer. Nick has an MS in chemical engineering from University of Illinois and an MBA in strategic management and finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Ford and Palmer scholar.
