Kai Neander is a leader in digital health innovation and development with experience leading novel healthcare delivery systems around the globe. An advocate for leveraging technology to make care more efficient and accessible to all, Kai has dedicated his career to leveraging health systems resources to maximize their reach and better serve patients. As leader of The George Washington University medical center’s Innovative Practice Section, Kai developed and oversaw emergent subspecialty care delivery to millions of covered lives across every ocean and throughout every continent. He also served as Operational Director of an Emergency Medical Services Agency supporting the National Capitol Region and led emergency medical response operations at numerous National Special Security Events. Currently, Kai is Director of Digital and Virtual Care at EvergreenHealth, an integrated health care system nearly one million residents in King and Snohomish counties. In his current role with EvergreenHealth, he leads patient engagement, telemedicine, digital health and MyChart initiatives.
