Dr. Marcus Johnson, a Denver, Colorado native, headed east to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a dentist. A Rutgers University alum and graduate of New York University Dental School, he furthered his knowledge and training receiving his Certificate of Endodontics from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio while earning his Master’s Degree of Science in Dentistry.
Dr. Johnson, an astute evidence-based clinician, won an award for his research on new treatment techniques in 2011 and is President of the New York State Association of Endodontists. He loves to interact with patients and colleagues through publishing literature and speaking internationally on endodontics, more over minimally invasive practices and the value of saving the natural dentition through application of "restorative endodontic" techniques.
Dr. Marcus Johnson is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He serves as the directing endodontic attending for the General Practice Residency at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn and owns and operates a private office, City Endodontics PLLC in midtown Manhattan. As the host of the AAE's new podcast Endo Voices Dr. Johnson helps to advance the art and science of endodontics and promote the highest standards of patient care through engaging and entertaining conversations with today’s top experts in the field. He values organized dentistry and is active at the local, state and national levels most currently serving on the board of the American Association of Endodontists.

Jennifer Doobrow

Dr. Jennifer Hirsch Doobrow, a Board Certified Periodontist, is the Owner and CEO of Periodontal and Implant Associates, Inc. located in Cullman, AL. She earned her DMD at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2007 and received her certification in Periodontics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 2010. She serves as a faculty member for the Pikos Institute, was the General Chair for the 2017 Gulf Coast Dental Conference, the 2017-2019 Chair of the Leadership Council for the UAB School of Dentistry, the 2018-2020 Chair of the Alabama Dental Association (ALDA) Council on Budget and Auditing and is a UAB Alumni Executive Council District Representative. Dr. Doobrow is on the Executive Council and serves as the Corporate Advisory Chair for the Southern Academy of Periodontology and sits on several committees for the American Academy of Periodontology. She holds Past-President positions in the Alabama Society of Periodontists and the Wilson Chenault Dental Study Club and is a Director for a Seattle Study Club located in Cullman, AL. In 2012, Dr. Doobrow was recognized as one of the University of Georgia's (UGA) prestigious 40 Under 40. Most recently, Dr. Doobrow was selected as one of the Top 10 Young Educators in America for 2017 by The Seattle Study Club, was inducted as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, as well as a Fellow of the American College of Dentists. She was also awarded the MUSC School of Dentistry Young Alumnus Award, the UAB School of Dentistry Outstanding Young Alumnus Award and was featured on Lifetime Network’s “The Balancing Act” as well as on the “Dentistry Uncensored Podcast”. She has published articles in Compendium, Inside Dentistry, DentistryIQ, Surgical Restorative Resource and Perio-Implant Advisory, and lectures extensively throughout the United States on dental implants and periodontal regenerative therapies. Dr. Doobrow’s office hosts an annual dental symposium in Cullman, AL with approximately 1,000 attendees in 2019.

Michelle has been a clinician in dentistry since 2000 and is currently a practicing hygienist, speaker, writer, content developer, consultant, and podcast co-host for "A Tale of Two Hygienists." She is a self-proclaimed dental nerd and sees the dental profession as not only her forever career path but her hobby. With a Master's in Dental Hygiene education and a belief in lifelong learning, Michelle hopes to continue to learn and grow within the dental profession and one day see the gap bridged between medical and dental. Her experience as a hygienist began in a periodontal and implant driven office while gaining considerable experience with the maintenance of dental implants and the compromised dentition. Her passion is helping patients be successful at-home with a goal to improve patient's oral health through a patient-centered approach.
