Dr. Alan Yassin is dual-trained in periodontics and oral and maxillofacial surgery. He obtained his dental degree in 2001 from Aleppo University, followed by four years of extensive oral and maxillofacial training at Damascus Hospital. He completed his specialty training in periodontology and a master’s degree in oral science from the University of Washington in Seattle. Dr. Yassin is a fellow of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a diplomate of the German Board of Oral Implantology DGZI. He serves as a reviewer for many academic journals. He is an affiliate clinical assistant professor at the University of Washington, as well as the course director and founder of the Washington Academy of General Dentistry’s implantology program. He lectures on implants and advanced esthetics/periodontal plastic surgery. His private practice in Seattle is limited to periodontics, oral surgery, and implant dentistry.
