Schelli Stedke received her Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from the Ohio State University and her Master’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She has been an Assistant Clinical Professor at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center and Texas Woman’s University where she taught dental hygiene for a combined 11 years. Prior to that, Schelli worked in clinical hygiene for 17 years. She is now working alongside NSK dental company to improve visibility and awareness of dental hygiene product availability. Schelli is a former President of the Memphis Dental Hygienists’ Association and Secretary of the Tennessee Dental Hygienists’ Association. She recently served as the Sigma Phi Alpha National Dental Hygiene Honor Society president and served as the student/faculty liaison the North Texas Dental Hygienists’ Association. She recently co-authored a chapter in the dental hygiene textbook, “Community Oral Health Practice for the Dental Hygienist.” She has presented at various local dental hygiene meetings, and nationally at The Association of Schools of Allied Health Professions Annual Conference and is published in the Exceptional Parent magazine. She has created and presented CE courses and podcasts that have been featured by Vivalearning Online Dental CE company.
