Dr. Sieja attended Northwestern University Medical School and completed her internal medicine residency at University of Colorado. She joined the University of Colorado School of Medicine faculty in 2007, and subsequently became the first UCHealth clinic medical director to adopt the EPIC EHR into outpatient practice in 2011. Her career as an informaticist began when she assisted with EHR implementation in close to 100 clinics, while also actively participating in ambulatory EHR governance. She now serves as a Senior Medical Director of Informatics for UCHealth and the Director of the UCHealth Sprint EHR Optimization and Training Program.
