Carrie has spent the last twenty-plus years combining real-world clinical experience with strategic thinking and business acumen, leading strategy, operations, and talent development for forward-thinking companies united by the common goals of population health and patient engagement. Carrie’s business and clinical experience, coupled with her entrepreneurial drive, led Crain’s Chicago to name her a “Notable Woman in Healthcare” for 2018.
Carrie’s previous positions include SVP of Operations and Client Services at Care Team Connect, where she helped lead the company through its acquisition by The Advisory Board (now Optum) and stayed on as General Manager of Crimson Care Management. Carrie’s clinical background includes providing direct care, training, and management services as a practicing occupational therapist in both Houston and Chicago. She holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Illinois, Chicago with a focus in Entrepreneurship and Strategic Change Management and a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Hartford.
