Nicolas Droushiotis is employed by the National Cyprus Hydrocarbons Company as Senior Project Engineer to support the ongoing commercial and technical activities for gas monetization offshore Cyprus. His roles cover areas such as Process Engineering, Technology Lead, and Project Management. Nicolas is also the Vice-Chair of the SUT East Mediterranean Branch, member of the Gas Industry Advisory Committee of EMGF, member of CYS/TC 22 and national expert with CEN/TC 282.
Nicolas obtained MEng in Chemical Engineering specialized in Petroleum Catalysis and MSc in Biotechnology. He holds PhD in Electrochemical Engineering on electrochemical reactors for producing energy using hydrogen. Previous experience includes working with 'Electricity Generation System with ZERO CO2 emissions-KIOS’, Cyprus Petroleum Refinery, and Shell Global Solutions, in The Netherlands.
