Bryant Komo is the Senior Program Engineer in Hawaiian Electric’s Customer Energy Resource Operations division. An 8-year veteran of Hawaiian Electric, Bryant has held multiple roles in DER engineering and planning. As the Senior Program Engineer, he is working to harness the power of distributed energy resources across Hawaiian Electric’s service territories by leading the team responsible for the administration and evolution of Hawaiian Electric’s DERMS and online Customer Interconnection Tool.

Bryant earned his Bachelor of Science – Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Hawaii – Manoa and Master of Applied Science – Environmental Policy and Management degree from the University of Denver. He is also a licensed professional engineer registered in the state of Hawaii.
