Diana McIver is the President/Owner of DMA Companies, based in Austin. Through its affiliates DMA Development Company, LLC, and DMA Properties, LLC, DMA develops, owns, and operates affordable housing communities. DMA Development has developed 35 apartment communities primarily in Texas. Diana has 47 years of experience in affordable housing and got her career start with the U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging.
Diana served on the Board of TALHFA from 2010 to 2023 and in 2014 was named TALHFA Member of the Year. She is a Past President of TAAHP and received its prestigious Jean MacDonald Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013. In March 2016, Diana was profiled by Affordable Housing Finance Magazine as one of the country’s ten most influential women in affordable housing and in 2021 was inducted into the AHF Hall of Fame. She has served on the Board of HousingWorks Austin, an advocacy group, since 2022. In 2023, she received the Texas Houser Award.
