John Poelman is a senior director based in Salt Lake City. As a senior director, John informs clients on the shifting health care landscape with expertise in value-based care.
While at Leavitt Partners, John served as the executive director of the Accountable Care Learning Collaborative, an organization housed at Western Governors University, with a mission to accelerate the accountable care movement and provide more than 100 organizational members with actionable intelligence on value-based delivery system reform.
Prior to joining Leavitt Partners, John served as a health policy analyst and special assistant to the Value-Driven Health Care Initiative at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
John earned his bachelor’s degree in international studies from the University of Utah and a master’s degree in public health with an emphasis in health policy from George Washington University.
