Dr. Salim Saiyed is Vice President and Chief Medical Information Officer at UPMC Central PA. He leads the implementation of clinical technology, optimization, informatics, governance, governance, analytics and digital health. He is passionate about improving physician and patient experience using technology. He is passionate about reducing EHR-related burnout by leading several projects. He is a national speaker with numerous peer-reviewed publications on topics of informatics and digital health. He serves on Epic telehealth advisory council and is course director for national telehealth certificate.
He is double board-certified in clinical informatics and family medicine.
