More than a decade following CMS requirements for deployment and meaningful use of EHR software, many organizations are facing daunting, time consuming, and expensive EHR replacements or major application upgrades. At the same time, business and clinical IT requirements for new technologies, interoperability, cyber defense, artificial intelligence, and more are pushing talent demands beyond available limits. Current IT talent requirements, acquisitions strategies, and retention concepts are addressed in this session.
