Mark Milligan is VP of IoT Product Marketing at Enlighted, where he utilizes a deep technology background to develop IoT solutions for the Healthcare industry.
With more than 25 years of experience as a technology executive in Silicon Valley, Mark has an extensive track record of bringing innovation to market in the electronic design and software industries. He has held executive marketing and general management positions in both early-phase startups and large public companies, and frequently provides new product consulting expertise to companies developing breakthrough big data, IT, and semiconductor technologies.
Mark has also been an active participant and leader in important industry organizations and consortia that have helped shape the semiconductor design ecosystem. This includes serving as President of the Open SystemC Initiative (OSCI), the broadly supported and open source language for the development of electronic systems which contain hardware and embedded software, where he worked to make it an IEEE industry standard.
After receiving a degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Milligan began his career as an electrical engineer developing avionic computing systems before moving to the Silicon Valley. Working in the electronic design automation industry, he regularly interfaced with customers that included Samsung, Intel, nVidia, Qualcomm, and other industry leaders.
