Sai Vodela serves as a Manager, Health Information Technology Data Programs at L.A. Care Health Plan. In his capacity he provides data strategy, analytics and technical implementation services for innovation programs and other quality improvement projects focused on improving quality of care for safety net population. He works closely with various cross-functional teams and external stakeholders including clinics, county agencies, vendors and provider groups to support initiatives focused on Health Information Exchange (HIE), Health Information Technology (HIT) and Quality Improvement. He previously led implementation of clinical data repository solution for Transforming Clinical Practice Initiative (TCPi), a $15.6 million federal grant awarded by Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI). He oversaw administration and implementation of real-time data exchange initiative (eConnect ADT Platform) and was instrumental in increasing enterprise wide adoption and usage of ADT platform. He has prior experience working at an electronic medical record company, where he worked closely with Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) ACOs and providers in implementing technology solutions tailored to track their financial and operational performance and quality of care.
He graduated with a Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) in Healthcare Management and a Master’s of Science (MS) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Fairleigh Dickinson University, New Jersey and a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy from Osmania University, India.
