Allison Culpepper serves as the Data Manager at the Florida Department of Health (FDOH), Division of Disease Control and Health Protection. Allison is the coordinator for the promoting interoperability program at FDOH and leads the facilitation of electronic data exchange, integration and file movement between external entities and FDOH, with a specific focus on electronic laboratory reporting, electronic case reporting, and syndromic surveillance. Allison’s team has been critical to the COVID-19 response in Florida; her team strives to manage the surveillance and investigation of public health threats by harnessing the power of data and healthcare innovation. Allison has over ten years of experience working in the field of public health informatics and health information technology. In her free time, Allison enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and her 3-year-old daughter.
