Electrification poses new challenges to an already rapidly transforming grid. The growth of transportation electrification in some instances can nearly double the delivery requirements of some utilities. But more extreme weather increasingly calls for Resiliency Zones and pandemics call for resilient and reliable broadband communications even in our most rural communities to ensure jobs and job growth. This session discusses concepts Oncor is studying to address these new electrification driven resiliency needs.
