Naveen Raja DO, MBA

Naveen Raja is the Medical Director of Population Health and Associate Clinical Professor at UCLA Health. In this role, Dr. Raja develops and supports strategies and programs related to population health and the achievement of the quadruple aim. His role supports care transformation toward value-based care delivery models. His interests include providing care on the patients’ terms with models that incorporate care at home, virtual care, and remote patient monitoring. Other areas of focus include equity, social determinants of health, and the use of Artificial Intelligence to guide clinical care. Prior to UCLA, he was the Chief Medical Information Officer at City of Hope. In that role, he had significant impact on care redesign, practice standardization, integration, and physician engagement. Dr. Raja’s professional experience in healthcare spans public, private, non-profit, academic, and start-up environments. Dr. Raja is Board-Certified in Rheumatology and Clinical Informatics. He earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from Eastern Michigan University, a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from Nova Southeastern University, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Texas - Dallas
