Pam Arlotto advises CEOs, Boards and Senior Healthcare Leaders in the development of digital transformation and innovation strategies. She is a recognized healthcare industry thought leader and has orchestrated the transition to consumer centric, connected care for more than thirty-five years. She combines a background in systems engineering with healthcare strategy to create new value and return on investment across the healthcare ecosystem.
Her specific areas of expertise include business model design, virtual care, advanced analytics, population health, consumer engagement and emerging digital health strategies. Pam’s consulting clients include large integrated delivery systems, academic and community-based healthcare providers, accountable care organizations, software and services vendors and other healthcare companies. She has facilitated highly visible collaborations across care delivery organizations, public private partnerships, employers, healthcare start-ups, emerging firms, and technology vendor giants.
Pam facilitates the Innovation in Healthcare Management certificate course for Dignity Health Global Education. She previously served as National President of HIMSS (the Healthcare Information & Management Systems Society) and Chairman of the Center for Healthcare Information Management. She has held positions on the Advisory Boards of The Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology & Emory University School of Medicine and The Scheller College of Business at Georgia Tech. She has served as a member of the Georgia Tech Foundation Board, Advisory Board of the University of Alabama at Birmingham Health Informatics program and is on the Board of several privately held companies.
Frequently quoted in publications such as Modern Healthcare, HFMA, and Healthcare Innovation, Pam authored her fifth book, Orchestrating Value: Population Health in the Digital Age in 2020. She is a frequent speaker at healthcare industry meetings and podcasts. She has been featured on National Public Radio and in the Wall Street Journal.
Pam holds an MBA from Georgia State University and a BS in Health Systems from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She has completed coursework in Design Thinking at the University of Virginia and with IDEO.
