Vishal Chaudhry is the Chief Data Officer (CDO) at the Washington State Health Care Authority - the state’s Medicaid and public employee benefits agency. Vishal became the first Chief Data Officer at a Washington state government agency in 2019. He is an experienced leader in data, analytics, and process improvement, with over 25 years implementing and improving business processes across the health care and health information technology, electronics, and automotive industries. Through this he has proven expertise in implementing systems and structures to ensure strategic initiative success, and leading development of practical, applied analytics to provide meaningful and actionable insights that help solve complex business problems. He holds a master’s in mechanical engineering from the University of Akron.
