Join us for the PIA Symposium conference
in Nashville, TN August 26-27, 2022!
Implant placement has become a routine surgical procedure utilized by surgical & prosthetic specialists as well as general practitioners. Although implant osseointegration can be achieved with a high degree of predictability, the most challenging area of treatment continues to be the anterior esthetic zone. Advances in the surgical aspect of implant dentistry include non-invasive grafting solutions, ostoepromotive graft material, implant coating technology, computer aided treatment planning software, and laser assisted augmentation and placement technology. Many advances have also occurred in the prosthetic phase of implant dentistry with advanced restorative material, CAD/CAM technologies, digital workflow enhancements, and overall case selection. Finally, laboratory advances with three-dimensional printing, milling, and digital correspondence have simplified the precision and delivery of implant prosthetics.
This conference will consist of a didactic and hands-on workshop that will focus on achieving ideal implant esthetics and avoiding complications. The sessions will be given by periodontists, a general dentist, a prosthodontist, and a master dental technician/lab owner. In addition to didactic lecture, cases will be presented that demonstrate the correct steps involved in treatment planning for the ideal esthetic implant result. Results of improper implant treatment planning will be discussed, and treatments of implant complications will be shown.

The PIA Symposium conference will help you:
• Learn how to predictably save implants with the latest regenerative technology
• Discuss how to diagnose a hopeless implant from an ailing implant
• Discuss how to treat and avoid prosthetic complications
• Implement implant removal and screw retrieval methods into your practice
• Discuss workflow and complications of digital planning, guided placement and prosthetic design
• Provide the decision matrix for removing full-arch prosthetics for maintenance
