Mark Mioduski brings three decades of Washington, D.C., experience, including knowledge of appropriations and policy in the legislative and executive branches, as well as in the private sector. Mioduski is one of the firm’s founding partners and co-leads the health practice at Cornerstone Government Affairs, where he assists non-profit public health associations, coalitions, healthcare providers and for-profit companies with federal appropriations, authorizing legislation and general representation. Mioduski served 11 years as a senior professional staff member of the Committee on Appropriations in the U.S. House of Representatives, primarily on the Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, the last five years of which he was the Democratic clerk. During his tenure on the Appropriations Committee. Mioduski also served on the Interior Subcommittee. Mioduski previously served as a senior budget analyst in the Office of the Secretary at the U.S. Department of the Interior, where he was principally responsible for the Bureau of Indian Affairs, and was a departmental liaison to the House and Senate Committees on Appropriations and the Office of Management and Budget. Mioduski earned a BA in political science and an MPA from the University of Arizona.

Manny Nsien MHA, ACHE, is executive director for University Park Behavioral Health. Nsien began his career working as an operations consultant within several emergency rooms across the United States. During his time as an operations consultant, he acquired extensive experience in EHR system implementation, operations management, managerial finance and continuous quality improvement. His primary focus was on improving quality and throughput within the ER and improving patient experience, which led to improved core quality measures, leading to increased hospital reimbursements. He has a key specialty in developing strong teams to execute financial objectives while developing a culture that is highly patient-centric.
