Jean Krisle is the CEO & Founder of 10,000 Beds, Inc, a 501c3 nonprofit corporation with the mission of awarding 10,000 scholarships for addiction treatment by 2018.  Not just an addiction coach, Jean’s multifaceted career has taken her to audiences and clients around the world. Known for her candor, resiliency, and leadership, Jean is the owner of 3 companies – each with a mission of motivating others to reach their goals. The mother of a recovering addict, Jean learned quickly how confusing the treatment world is and how unprepared she was to handle it. She knew others were probably as unprepared as she was, and she started a consulting business to provide support to families.

As she would speak with individuals with no resources, and then later in the day visit treatment centers with empty beds, it became clear that this equation needed a solution. From that experience, 10,000 Beds was born.  Today, 10,000 Beds operates with a 100% volunteer staff and board, with funding from individual donors, grants and foundations, and through strategic partnerships with treatment centers throughout the United States who commit to providing at least one scholarship bed per year for a minimum of 30 days of treatment.

Jay Staples
COO
Casa Colina Treatment

Jay Staples has no letter behind his names, no specialized talents or abilities, or quite frankly nothing that sets him apart from anyone else. Known for his dry sense of humor and creative writing, Jay combines his experience as a journalist, marketer, and a person in long term recovery into a passion that drives him to lend his voice to things he believes in. Jay started buying media at age 12 for his father’s advertising agency, and by age 18 was being recruited by major advertising agencies all over the country. His experience in marketing and advertising techniques, both ethically and unethically, is extensive. Jay has worked in the treatment industry marketing world for over 4 years, and sees tactics once deemed acceptable in other arenas, diminishing the belief “what’s best for the client”. Jay sees dollars dictating treatment placement, instead of best care. He was formerly the Marketing Director for Burning Tree, and just recently took the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Casa Colina Treatment in Dallas, TX. In his new role, Jay will oversee Operations and Facility Branding & Marketing.
